Affiliate Disclosure
True Cost of a Dog is free to use, and we intend to keep it that way. To cover our costs, we participate in affiliate programs:
- Some links on this site — for example, links to pet insurance providers or pet retailers — are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up or make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
- We may also display advertising (such as Google AdSense) in the future.
Our editorial promise
- Commissions do not determine our estimates, our calculator math, or which providers we mention.
- We disclose affiliate relationships on pages that contain affiliate links, per FTC guidelines.
- If we ever can't recommend something honestly, we won't recommend it.
